此种造型机工作原理是砂箱和模样固定在造型机的工作台上﹐利用工作台下落时与砧座撞击面的相撞﹑砂粒的惯性来紧实砂型。这种造型机的优点是设备造价低,操作简单。缺点是砂型上下紧实度不均匀,尤其上部紧实度不足,噪声严重,工人劳动强度大,生产效率低下,环境污染严重,对厂房基础冲击较大。该机已经逐步被微震压实造型机所代替。

(60~120次/分)﹑大振幅的振动。这种造型机的优点是设备造价低,操作简单,所造砂型紧实度基本均匀,对厂房基础要求也较低。缺点是噪声严重,工人劳动强度大,生产效率低下,环境污染较严重。
